WELCOME TO ARATS
Welcome to the Amateur Radio Association of the Tonawandas' website. We are based out of North Tonawanda, NY. We use the club call-sign W2VCI which is the club's new call sign. Until further Notice we will not be meeting at City of Tonawanda , City Hall on the third Wednesday as the Mayor has shut down City Hall after hours meetings and etc. because of the Corvid - 19
AMATEUR RADIO INFORMATION FOR ALL
We are going to keep the Tuesday night net which is on 28.330 at 8 p.m. and also the Thursday night net which is on 146.955 at 8:30 p.m. Looking ahead there will be an ARATS Board meeting second saturday of each month at 1 p.m. at Adams Fire Hall Station 2 on Shawnee Road. The VE session have been halted due to reasons beyond our control and therefore we will no longer be giving test until further notice. But I would like to Thank all the personnel who were involved with this duty.
There is a Monday night net that anyone can join in on, starts at 8 pm on 50.200MHz
Bulletins on the 2-meter repeater on Saturday night at 9 p.m. it is an ARRL audio Newsline
The next regular meeting is no longer going on till further notice.

Contest and Etc going on.
There is always a contest going on just google Amateur Radio Contest and a whole page will come up.
Several ARATS members have gone into the use of DMR and at the last meeting we had a presentation on DMR uses and set-ups given by N2WUT (Bill Busch) and other members. Will be dedicating a page on this subject in the future
